Agfa Acento thermal CtP system provides automated plate handling and quality imaging usually found in larger CtP systems. However, its compact size make it suitable for small and medium sized commercial printers where prepress area is a limiting factor.

The Acento's imaging speeds vary from 11 plates per hour in the E model to the S model's 21 plates per hour, using plate sizes ranging from 304 x 370mm to 660 x 830mm. The system can be easily upgraded from the E to the S model if your production volumes increase.

It has a range of speeds and easy-loading features to fit your volume requirements, even in its manual configuration the Agfa Acento has separate loading and unloading bays so that a plate can be staged while another is being imaged.

The Acento can also provide you with a processless CtP solution using Agfa's Azura plates providing an environmently friendly alternative to traditional thermal plates. The simplified platemaking process also does away with the use of hazardous chemicals reducing the health and safety burden of chemical handling.
