Inkland was founded in 1979, and has since become the largest independent graphic arts and commercial print solution provider in the North East. We are members of the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) and our commitment to customer service was rewarded in the recent BPIF 'Supplier of the Year' excellence awards.

From the outset Inkland has sought to supply only from recognised leading manufacturers thereby providing our customers with high quality and consistent supply together with independent, impartial advice. Our prepress expertise is unrivalled, as evidenced by the fact that Inkland are the leading supplier of computer to plate (CtP) devices in the North East with over half the region's CtP devices supplied and supported by us.

With the advent of the desktop publishing concept and resulting technologies a new division of the company, Inkland Electronics, was formed in 1994. Inkland Electronics offers the most up to date equipment available and, as part of a complete service, the company's team of engineers provide customers with the training, support and skills necessary not only to embrace new technologies, but also to be at the forefront when they occur.

Inkland operates from purpose built 11,500 sqft premises incorporating electronic workshops and ink labs. The company is ISO 9001:2000 accredited for the stocking and supply of graphic arts materials and equipment, and the repair and maintenance of graphic arts equipment.
