Inkland offer a fully licensed waste management service with treatment, recovery and recycling as well as on-site
consultation, dangerous goods safety, legal and technical advice and analytical support.
In conjunction with Silver Lining Industries we actively promote a waste collection service called WasteCare. Subscribers
to WasteCare are advised on all aspects of environmental legislation and kept up to date on changes which may affect
their business.
We can provide our customers with continual access to information on classifying waste, waste legislation and a range of
links to associated organisations such as the Environment Agency. In doing so, we offer our customers more than a simple
waste collection service, we provide a working partnership to ensure your company’s total environmental compliance.
Below are some typical waste streams handled by WasteCare:
- Plate developer
- Photo fixer
- Blanket wash
- Contaminated ink tins or cartridges
- Contaminated wipes
- Fount solution
- Emulsion
- Printing solvents
- Dry special waste
- Printing adhesives
- Gums
Collections can be arranged on request or on a predetermined rota to suit your needs.
Agfa Lithostar users will have the additional benefit of free collection of Lithostar waste. Agfa's recent changes to
the formulation of the waste stream has allowed all Lithostar material to be collected from end users on a free of charge
basis. |
