In addition to full workflow solutions we can also offer HighWater's latest Torrent RIP. Version 7.1 introduces native compatibility with PDF 1.6, simple in-RIP imposition for four-up as well as two-up conventional printing and digital print, and increased platform support up to Mac OS X (10.4).

With the expanded in-RIP imposition option now available for Torrent users, the RIP can act as a full prepress production server accepting jobs directly from the designer's applications or customer supplied files, creating proofs, generating traps, colour managing and now imposing jobs for output on a huge range of devices including the B2 HighWater Python platesetter or B3 HighWater Cobra platesetter.

For Torrent users needing access to more complex or larger imposition formats, the Torrent JDF Enabler option combined with Torrent RIP 7.1 now supports the CIP4 “Layout Creation to Imposition” ICS, enabling the RIP to accept JDF imposition instructions from popular third party imposition packages for robust integration of RIPing and imposition layout.
